AI contract remediation for the contract you have. Make it the one you want.
Send us the existing contract. Our AI contract remediation process produces a full analysis, a categorised revision plan, then — with your approval on every change — a redrafted contract with commentary showing exactly what moved and why. Fixed price. Delivered in three business days.
The contract is signed, but it’s not working the way it should.
AI contract remediation is for contracts that are currently live and causing friction. If any of these sound like something you’ve said or thought recently, this is the pathway. For standard form consumer or small trade contracts, the Commerce Commission also provides guidance on unfair contract terms.
Three business days. Two hands, one approval gate.
AI contract remediation is a collaborative workflow. We do the analytical and drafting work. You do the strategic decisions on which changes go in. The plan approval is what protects you from a redraft that isn’t yours.
Analyse the contract in full.
AI contract remediation begins with every party, obligation, date, risk and non-standard clause mapped. Same depth as Intelligence Plus. Sets the baseline.
Draft the revision plan.
Every proposed change, categorised as Add, Modify, Remove or Rebalance. Each with a rationale. Nothing changes without your approval.
Approve the plan.
Approve, decline or modify each item. Reply by email or a short call. Whatever you approve is what gets redrafted. Nothing more, nothing less.
Produce the redraft.
Redrafted DOCX with every approved change marked. Commentary block for each explaining what moved and why. Ready for solicitor review.
Nothing changes without your sign-off.
The revision plan is the mid-point deliverable that makes AI contract remediation different from any other redraft service. Every recommendation is categorised, explained, and put to your approval before the redraft even starts.
What a redrafted clause actually looks like.
With AI contract remediation, every approved change ships as tracked edits in the redrafted DOCX, paired with a commentary block explaining the rationale. Below is one clause taken from the sample plan above — the “before” as-signed, the “after” as-redrafted, and the commentary that goes with it.

Termination made mutual, cure period added.
Two changes here. First, the addition of a 30-day cure period before termination for material breach — this removes hair-trigger termination and gives both parties a reasonable chance to remedy issues before the contract ends. Second, the termination-for-convenience right was one-way in favour of the Customer only. It’s now mutual on the same 90 days notice, which better reflects a balanced commercial relationship. Both changes approved as items 15.1-A and 15.1-B on the revision plan.
