How contract intelligence works, from click to delivered.
Every ObliTracker order follows the same procedure. This page shows how contract intelligence works end to end — the timeline, what you prepare, how we handle your data, what happens if something goes off-script, and what we commit to.
What happens between order and delivery.
The timeline below shows how contract intelligence works for Contract Intelligence (2 business days). Faster products compress the second half; longer products (Create, Revise) add drafting time. Every event happens in the same sequence.
You place the order.
Single-product checkout. No account, no signup. Card or invoice at your choice. Confirmation lands in your inbox within seconds.
We generate your private intake link.
The link is tied to your order ID and a private order key. It’s not password-based, not indexed, and not shared. It arrives with your order confirmation email.
You complete the intake at your own pace.
Upload your contract (Analyse, Revise) or answer a structured brief (Create). The AI helper is available field by field if you want it. Ten to twenty minutes for most engagements. Save and return if you need to.
Intake complete — we begin analysis.
At this point, how contract intelligence works shifts from intake to analysis. The clock starts on your stated turnaround from the moment the intake completes. Not from when you ordered. So you’re never penalised for taking a day to think about the brief.
Analyst produces the deliverable.
This is how contract intelligence works at document level. Fresh eyes on your document. Every clause read, every obligation extracted, every date calendared. For Revise, this stage produces the plan for your approval before we redraft.
Second-reviewer check.
A second review is part of how contract intelligence works in practice. A different set of eyes reviews the output before it leaves. Catches misses, confirms the reading, checks the format. This is the step that keeps quality consistent across engagements.
Deliverable lands in your inbox.
PDF plus CSV for Analyse. DOCX plus assumptions log plus summary for Create. Full analysis, plan, and redraft with commentary for Revise. Within your stated turnaround, or a refund if not.

Where your contract goes, and where it doesn’t.
Understanding how contract intelligence works includes knowing where your contract goes. Contracts are commercially sensitive, so our handling procedure reflects that. The flow below shows every stage your uploaded file passes through, from arrival to eventual archive. For broader New Zealand guidance, see the Office of the Privacy Commissioner’s Privacy Act 2020 principles and the NCSC’s advice for protecting organisational systems and data.
Private intake links only
Every intake link is tied to your order ID and a private order key. Not password-based, not indexed by search engines, not shared across orders. Anyone without both parts cannot access the intake.
Server-side AI processing only
Server-side processing is part of how contract intelligence works securely. The optional AI helper runs entirely on our server. API keys never appear in your browser, on page source, or in any public file. Your contract text is not used to train any AI model.
No email attachments
Your contract file is never emailed as an attachment — either to you or between our team. All contract access happens inside our controlled environment. Only the analytical deliverable is emailed.
90-day retention, then deletion
Retention is part of how contract intelligence works after delivery. We keep your contract file for 90 days after delivery to support any revision requests. After that it’s permanently deleted from all systems. You can request earlier deletion at any point — email hello@ and it’s gone within one business day.
When something goes off-script.
A clear account of how contract intelligence works must include the exceptions. Every engagement is different. Here’s what happens when the standard flow doesn’t quite fit — file too large, second thoughts, urgent need, or an NDA required first.
Email hello@oblitracker.co.nz before ordering with a short description. We’ll provide a bespoke intake link with a higher size limit or arrange split upload. No extra charge for normal-sized commercial contracts.
Email hello@oblitracker.co.nz with the counterparty NDA — or ask for ours. We sign and return before you send anything. Your order can wait until the NDA is in place.
Contact us before intake starts and we swap the order over, refunding or invoicing the difference. If we spot the mismatch after intake, we pause and email you before starting work.
Take it. The turnaround clock starts when you submit the intake, not when you order. There’s no expiry on your intake link unless you request the file destroyed sooner.
We contact you before it happens with a revised delivery date and an option for a full refund. If we don’t contact you first, the refund is automatic on request. No arguments.
One round of clarifications is included in scope. Beyond that, email us within 7 days and we’ll either fix it, provide clear explanation for the reading, or refund. Whichever fits the situation.
What we commit to, on every engagement.
How contract intelligence works is defined by these commitments. They apply to every ObliTracker order, from the smallest Contract Summary to the largest Revise engagement. They’re not aspirational and they’re not negotiable per order — they’re the fixed floor.
Delivered when we said, or refunded.
Turnaround is stated per product. If we can’t meet it we contact you first with an option to refund. If we don’t contact you, refund is automatic on request.
Fixed price, no variations.
The price you see is the price you pay. No hourly billing, no scope creep charges, no surprise invoices. Larger or unusual jobs get quoted before you order.
NZ-hosted, NZ-controlled.
Your contract sits on New Zealand infrastructure, accessed by New Zealand-based analysts. No offshore processing, no third-party AI training use, no jurisdictional grey areas.
Second reviewer on every output.
Nothing leaves without a second set of eyes. Not spot-checks — every engagement. Consistency across engagements is what makes the deliverables useful.
One round of clarifications, always included.
If something in the deliverable is unclear or needs a follow-up read, that’s included in the price. It’s not a surcharge, it’s part of the job.
No follow-up sales contact.
You order, we deliver, done. No newsletter opt-in, no drip sequence, no “just checking in” emails. If you want to work with us again, come back on your own timing.
