Q.01 What if I don’t know what contract type to pick?
The AI contract creation tool includes “Other commercial agreement” when no listed type fits. Pick the closest one, or choose “Other commercial agreement” and describe what you need in the brief. If the type you pick turns out to be wrong for what you’re describing, we’ll email you before drafting starts and adjust — no extra charge.
Q.02 Do I have to use the AI helper?
No. The brief works exactly the same whether you type your own answers or use the helper on every field. Most people mix both — helper on the trickier ones, typed directly on the simple ones.
Q.03 Can I attach an example or a template?
Yes. The “Supporting file” field takes any PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT or RTF up to 10MB. We use it as reference material — not as the basis for drafting.
Q.04 Is the DOCX ready to sign?
No — nothing we produce is ready to sign without qualified legal review. The AI contract creation tool produces a strong first draft that’s structured, complete and ready for your lawyer to redline. The assumptions log tells them exactly where to focus.
Q.05 What if my situation is unusual?
Email us first at hello@oblitracker.co.nz with a short description. Unusual situations either fit inside “Other commercial agreement” with an explanatory brief, or benefit from a quick pre-order conversation to confirm scope.
Q.06 What jurisdictions do you draft for?
New Zealand contracts by default. Australian if specified in the brief. Other jurisdictions on request — email first to confirm we can help before ordering.
